CAREER CONFIDENCE AND THE PATH TO LEADERSHIP
are you passionate about gender equality?
We are currently undertaking a new piece of research in association with The University of Glasgow, Capability Jane and Management Today to examine ‘Career confidence and the path to leadership’ and are looking for individuals that are employed in a corporate setting to take part in a short ten minute online survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/mcmweb.
According to the World Economic Forum we are still 108 years away from achieving gender equality. We want to hear from men and women at all levels in organisations to understand what we can all do differently to support our future female talent pipeline. We are aiming for 2,000 responses and would be happy to hear from anyone who is employed (full-time, part-time or on a career break).
HELP TO TRAIN A WOMAN IN AFRICA
For every response we get we are pledging to pay for a day’s training for a woman in Africa through B1G1, so not only will you be supporting this ground-breaking research you will also be helping to make a bigger global impact.

What you are doing is so important to help women find their confidence - and from that, power
MORE ABOUT THE 2019 RESEARCH PROJECT
We have an ambition to survey around 2,000 people and will do this through links to corporate ambassadors and other networks. The research is designed to examine barriers to career progression (both external and personal challenges) and what organisations can do to improve the support it provides employees to enable a healthy pipeline of future leaders. It will also look at the differences between genders and whether or not this has an impact on the route to the top, and what organisations can do differently to support those that want to progress up the career ladder.
We believe in making a bigger social impact where we can and for every completed response we get, we pledge to pay for one day of training for a woman in Africa.
publication of research report and press enquiries
We will be hosting a launch event in London, together with the announcement of the results in the media. The research report will also be available to download here following its publication. For press enquiries, please contact us.
